I decided to dye my hair black.I then dyed my hair to dark choc brown.. (for a few years) The other day I decided to dye it back to blonde.. I first used a pre lightener which made my hair a dark ginger.I then used a blue powder bleach with 40 vol peroxide.. I used 1 application and it made my hair go to a lightish yellow and orange colour at the ends.I then used a ash blonde toner which I thought would cancel the orange out.. it didn't do anything at all!!
Then today I put another lot of blue powder and peroxide on my hair it has gone alot lighter mostly a yellow colour now with a tiny bit of a pink tinge just below the roots.
The ends of my hair are like gum.. So I have covered my whole head with aussie conditioner.
I'm going to leave that on there over night.
I have bought a platinum blonde live xxl, what I want to know is if I put the on there will it cover the little bit of pinky tinge at the top? I have John Frieda Sheer blonde shamp%26amp;cond too will this tone it after?Thx4help!!
Dark Brown dyed Hair to Platinum Blonde..(long post)? Oh my god, don't put anything else over your hair! I'm serious if you put another dye kit on that tortured barnett you will lose it. Just keep deep conditioning it and don't blow dry for the love of God. If you hunt around on the net you can buy mousses and tinted conditioners that have a 'violet correction' tone, this will counter act any yellow or brassiness in your hair and will do it gently, you may have to put up with this colur and the roots for a while at least untill that poor hair of yours recovers. People never think there is any risk of their hair dissolving or falling out from overdye, but trust me, it happens, so be careful, be kind to that hair and just treat it with thos correctioal toned conditioners and mouses like i said otherwise you will join the Gail Porter club!

Wait a few weeks and say the pink is a thing... Let your hair heal a little while. Your hair folicils are wide open now and your only causing more damage... Just be patient and wait... Please!!!!

I'd give your hair a rest for a while from chemicals and just put your hair through an intense shampoo and condition daily for the next couple of weeks.
And then maybe, if the condition of your hair improves, you should try dying it.
Dark Brown dyed Hair to Platinum Blonde..(long post)? When you dye your hair a lighter colour it takes all the goodness out. You will end up with really weak and unhealthy hair. You should of gone to a salon. If you want to try diffrent colours- get a wig.

Plus, I hate to break it to you, but leaving conditioner in over night isn't going to do much. Your hair can only absorb so much conditioner, so it will be like leaving it on for thirty minutes instead of over night, and that's still not going to make your hair undamaged.
What you could do is cut the ends off if it's only the ends that feel like gum, but you still shouldn't put anything else on your hair. You can't keep doing that in such a short amount of time. Wait atleast two weeks before you put the blonde dye in your hair again.
Will it work? You can't know for sure. If you want to take the chance, you can.

Take some Skin Hair and nail Vitamins, and wait our the damage. Or get a real short cut and start over again with your own color, it is the best color you can possibly be.

First off, you NEVER use 40 vol with bleach...it will eat away your hair.
Any color your put on your hair now will likely end up a weird shade (green, gray, pink) because your hair is so damaged and porous from all of the bleaching.
You said you put an ash on your hair...you are lucky that it didn't turn green! To counteract orange, you use violet. But I wouldn't put anything else on your hair at this point.
Conditioner won't mend your damaged ends. (Don't leave it on overnight) You need to go get those ends cut off by a hair stylist.
