I was just wondering what I'd do once it starts to come out? My hair isn't blonde but it's not a dark brown (kinda in between) and I just thought it could look silly once my hair grows more unless I keep dying it like that.
I thought that I could use semi-permanent dye on my roots until the permanent dye is out but would this work?
Any help greatly appreciated.

i didnt know you could get permenent pink, unles you have already bought it, i don't think you can huy it cos i want a permenebt purple but 'wacky' colours like blue and pink are only sold in semi-permenent. unless your hairdreesers does them.
i have dyed my hair in pemanent colours and all i can say is that permenent colour does fade. i dyed my hair a pemanent red and it had faded completelywithin 2 weeks.
dn't dye you hair after you roots have grown as you risk REALLY damaging you hair if the semi-permenent dye gets on the hair already dyed.
(also think about getting your hair bleached to platinum blonde beforehand as this will really make the pink bright, my hairs brown and ive bleached it to dye it purple. bleach makes the dyed colour really vibrant)

depends on your colour though cause if its a dark you might have bleach your hair before you dye it black or whatever

When I was 15 I wanted to dye my hair pink.My mother wouldn't let me and I was so mad!To this day I am glad she stopped me!Once you dye your hair it will never be the same again.If you decide to go back to your old color you have to DYE it again to get it back to your real color.

My advice is to just use the semi-perminant pink and not the black (black is ubber hard to get out.. ih ad to bleach my hair three times).. You'll still have a cool look but it wont hurt your hair or you bank account!
This summer, I want to dye my hair pink and black.? You would need to have it done at a salon to keep it looking good. I would not try that at home, being that its such a drastic color change. I have total color, dk brown (almost black) and RED streaks and chunks. I have to go back once a month to the colorist to maintain it. It gets expensive but I get a lot of compliments. I would opt to brighten the dark blond with streaks of really light blonde and get the pink added in chunks or streaks. You would be able to keep that up easier and still look trendy.

The other thing to consider is that employers and such like people that don't particulary stand out...if you are looking for a summer job, pink and black hair may hurt your chances.
Perhaps you could express yourself throught creative clothing or even better, find an organization to volunteer at...that is a great way to try something new and express yourself.
This summer, I want to dye my hair pink and black.? wow this could be a shocker black and pink is quite a DARK COLOR if you want the pink to come out a nice bright pink you have to bleach blonde the placers u want it pink and black will cover up anything personally i would just put the pink in the black dye; although it come out eventually it still leaves your origanal hair color darker than it was before.

For starters, it looks tacky, not to mention the fact, depending on what shade of pink you want, you will have to bleach out the areas where you want the pink before hand. You'll be damaging your hair for a bad cause.
Also, never mix semi permanent and permanent hair dye.
A woman's hair is her crowning glory. If you want funky, then go funky. Tacky, on the other hand, never got anyone too far.
This summer, I want to dye my hair pink and black.? I personally think this could look amazing. As long as your hair is cut to suit you this could work really well. It would go well with a gothic style of dressing I think. You obviously just have to make sure you get it done well, because the black can be too overpowering sometimes. In my opinion as long as you get it done somewhere good, and the idea fits your "style" as it were, this could look very, very good.
And to those saying you wouldn't interest any guys with this; if you did it right, you'd certainly pull me! ;-) Not all guys want skinny blonde airheads.
