im finding for pink or purple hair dye and prefer it to be metallic..read about sally. but sally is in the US!!im in spore..gosh..

i dont mind re applying the colour as i understand it washes off after a number of wash. but a good dye wud really make my day

Unnatural colors like pink and purple are made from vegetables and coat the hair rather than dye the hair (dye soaks in), which is why it washes out. A dye will not wash out at all. I had a lady friend who was into the Goth scene and she shopped online at several Goth sites. She used a very deep, deep purple with lighter purple highlights. She did her own with the help of a friend and then she helped her friend do hers every other week or so. Very interesting to watch these two ladies color their hair. So, search for Goth supplies and attire and you may very well find something affordable.

basically for asian hair, as our base colour is dark, if you use dyes, it will still turn brownish eventually, or even not show at all.. if you really want to permanently dye your hair pink/purple, you have to bleach your hair to death..

I think a better solution would be to use the GATSBY hair spray, available in the colours that you want..it shows up pretty well for our asian hair. ;)

I almost dyed my hair pink at a Thai salon while i was holidaying there, however, upon considering that after a few weeks it may turn dirty - brownish - pink .... i stuck to brownish shades :P
