they do make washable dyes if you want to experiment. I went through this phase when I wanted blue hair....never did it though, and now it's too late because I am married and living on a big army base where people seriously judge based on how you look. Not to mention I am having a baby....:o( Oh I wish I could have done it, I would have freaked out a whole bunch of peoplein the process....

whatever you want if your pretty. Personally if I see a girl with pink hair, there is no way I'm approaching them. The punk deal is just wierd and unappealing to me. Altho I know plenty of guys who find that sexy. The only girl ive been attracted to with pink hair was Pink. But in the end its whatever makes you happy .

Do what makes you happy..other peoples opinions are unimportant. Besides, somewhere, someone is always going to be talking about someone else..I don't mind being talked about, at least they are leaving everyone else alone! Pink hair is cute. I would put highlights or tips in first(just on the bottom ends) or the whole underside of your hair. That way you'll know if you like it %26amp; how it will mesh with your complexion. You can always die it back or bleach it out if you don't like the color.

if you are worried about what people will think of you then don't do it. I've had just about every color hair in the rainbow, pink, blue, red *fire truck red*, green, black, blond, white.. etc, and i do get labeled in many ways. (freak, punk, goth, drug user, slut, drop out) i just don't care. I was raised to be open and i like the "strange" hair colors better. if people got to know me they would realize that i was a 4.0 student, married with a beautiful happy child, I've never been to jail, never caught an STD, I'm not depressed or weird, i just find those colors beautiful so i do it.

ive done pink and i liked it and my husband to , your probably younger than me and i colored my hair oink when i was 43 . so try it but you will want to go to a salon cause if your hair is dark youll need to lighten it first then do the pink some salons dont have the funky colors so you might have to buy it get manic panic a neat one is bubble headed pink. have fun

I just had pink in my hair, it was a lot of fun. I only colored the underneath parts framing my face. so basically the hair above the ears. Everyone i met loved my hair. I am a hairdresser and all my clients liked it. a few of them liked it so much they wanted me to put pink in their hair! I'd say start with a little bit under neath and go from there. That way if you don't like it you can just grow it out easy enough, or color over it with some brown. That's what I did, I had the pink for about 3 months and I got bored with it. What can I say when your in the biz you always want to try something new. BTW try Special effects it is a semi permanent color and they have several shades of pink to choose from. and some of them glow in blacklight. www.specialeffectsusa.com
