How to change my hairstyle HELP PLEASE!?

right now I have pink/purple hair. it is past collarbone length so i decided to change it since it is long enough.

my natural hair is a walnut/dark brown, wavy, and super-thick. so remember i have the magenta in my hair (an no it isn't in strips, like my whole head) but i want to go to brown poofy, curly, kinda jew-fro looking hair. here is a link to exactly what i want.

so how do i get it to this?



i heard i need to either dye my hair brown, wait, and then get a perm.



or get something to get the color out (the magenta), dye, then perm.



i am so confused :(

your hair look similar to her but if you perm it it will look shorter you can tone down the red by using light brown then use curling I iron to achieve the look while your hair grow out a little bit more before you perm.

dont try to get the magenta out just get your brown over it then get a perm. dont try removing the megenta!!!! it doesnt work!! its only a waste of money and time. trust me

By the way I love Regina but you should dye it back to brown (obviously) and then ....get a perm! Since Reg Spektor's hair isn't tigh tight curls you should just get a cheap perm!
