i cut and dye my own hair. I wanted to do stripes but its very scene, and i wanna be different so i wanna do polka dots on a streak of my hair. Only problem is how do i get perfect circles any ideas? lol

You'll probably have to have someone else help you with dying the polka dots in your hair. A sponge cut into a circle would probably be the best thing to use.

Also make sure to rinse in cold water so the dye doesn't bleed to badly.

The only way I can think of is by making a stencil. Print off a perfect circle at the size you want and cut it out of some card or something. You'll need someone to help you apply it evenly.

I don't know if it would work, because when I was getting red streaks put in my stylist had me wash my hair standing up so the streaks wouldn't run into my dark brown hair and tint it.

I'm thinking even if you got it perfect that if you rinsed it, it may not be so well.

You can always ask a stylist, doesn't mean you gotta get your hair done by them :)
