I personally think that four is still a little young, maybe in a couple of years... and if she wants pink then you can go to a beauty supply store and get some semi-permanent hair color that last through a few shampoos... also they have a new thing out from conair... its called conair pro color accents...

I didnt start doing the permnent dye till i was 13 or 14 but if you want the temp dye it would be ok. But in my opinion i think you should wait a little while shei s just 4

If she is such a mommie's girl, use your adult common sense to get her to accept her own hair color and suggest buying her a hat or a scarf to help decorate her head. At four, you are beginning to allow her to go overboard with being different and calling attention to herself. I mean PINK hair isn't exactly in style, and her friends will laugh at her. That will not be a good experience for her!!

Dye is not recommended for children because there are HARSH CHEMICALS in it. Hair dye can cause blindness, allergic reactions, sensitivity, hair breakage, hair loss, etc...(Read the labels). If this is what you want to do to her---you are her mom. Besides, mommy's girl is going to change her mind sooner or later and then what, another dye job? Save the dyeing for when she's older AND more mature. Now is not the time.
i say you should wait until shes like ten or thirteen to dye a whole head of head but since shes 4 you could do like a small strip of pink thats temporary. but since you are the parent you should do what you think is best.
