I think we'll need some more information out of you to really help you out. Is the skin just pink (normal) or is it pink from a rash or sore (not normal)? Is your dog old and balding (normal) or relatively young (not normal)? Is it warm where you are, and the dog is shedding her thick coat (normal), or are you in a climate where she'll need more hair for warmth (not normal)? Is the hair coming off a bit at a time, like when you brush her hair, or is it falling off in clumps (definately not normal)? Also, are the bald spots bothering her, is she licking or chewing at them, or do they not affect her? Is the skin hot to the touch (not normal)?

A dog losing hair can be caused by a number of different things. Some salves might work, like aloe vera, but if the hair lose is caused by something other than skin irritation, then it won't help at all and might make it worse. I'd say take her to the vet.
