How would dark brown hair look with a pink chunk on the bottom side?

I'm going to the salon today to get my hair done, I have dark brown hair and I want a pink chunk, or streak on the bottom side of my hair. Not a light pink, like a hot pink. Avril has a bright pink chunk in her hair now, but her hair is also blonde, and I know that makes a difference. So let me know what you all think, or if you have better suggestions. I'll be letting a stylist do it all don't worry about that part. Please let me know! Love y'all, Alli

That would be cool but I think a more purple shade would look better. The colors would go together more smoothly, but whatever you like.

well the color might not be hot pink because your hair is a little dark, but it sounds like a hot idea, but just know that any color like pink, green, blue they all fade so make sure that hair dresser doesn't use cheap dye that fades of gets discoloured.

i don't really like that look...... but if you want it, go ahead, its your hair..... i would recommend highlites instead, they are more natural looking.....
